Why get an album?
Photo albums are a wonderful way to have easy access to your favorite photos from your wedding or event. As an admitted bibliophile, I could geek out on the merits of the printed medium forever, but I’ll keep this short. How often do you actually look at the pictures on your computer? For most people the answer is ‘not often’. Instead of letting your favorite photos languish in disorder on your hard drive, have them made into a one-of-a-kind heirloom you can enjoy forever.
There’s nothing like reliving your special day through a tangible, highly curated collection of images you can hold in your hands. All of my albums are thoughtfully designed, by me, to tell the story of your day in a way that feels deliberate and artful. My approach is not to haphazardly throw photos into a template, but to create something unique and personalized, that you will proudly show your grandkids (someday).
What’s the process?
To start, I will send you a copy of my album brochure, so you can see all of the available options and pricing. Albums are available in 3 different lines and dozens of cover options, to fit any taste or budget. Once you’ve made your choices, just fill out the required fields and submit it to me.
Next up is image selection. Simply make a favorites folder in your web gallery of the photos you’d like to include. Having a hard time choosing? Go with your gut! You’re first instinct is usually right. If you get stuck I’m happy to help. Want to know which ones are my favorites? They’ll be the ones in the ‘highlights’ category. When you’re ready, share your favorites folder with me and I will get to work designing you a beautiful, completely customized keepsake.
When I have finished mocking up the page layouts I will share a PDF proof with you, just in case you want to make any changes. Once the album layouts are approved, it’s sent off for printing and binding. From this point, production can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months, but most albums are ready in about a month.
The Heirloom Album
My premium line, perfect for those looking for a little extra luxury. This album line features ultra-thick pages, exclusive cover options, and a larger standard size, to showcase more of your favorite images. Pricing includes all design work, a premium leather cover, and your choice of cover or spine imprinting.
The Fine Art Album
My most popular line, perfect for those looking for a simple, high quality album. These flushmount albums feature thick, lay-flat pages printed on archival grade photo paper. Covers are available in a variety of colors and materials, including silk, leather, and vegan leather options.
The Signature Album
The perfect option for people who want a professional grade album at a lower price point. This albums pages are made of back-to-back, archival photo paper, for a streamlined profile. They are available in a variety of silk, linen, or vegan leather cover materials, but the hallmark of this album line is the completely customizable, hardcover photo option.
